How can your role be described?

Welcome children and their families and assist them with the Check-In process. Welcome and accompany new guests through the check-in process, ensure all necessary information is captured and walk them to the appropriate classrooms.

To whom will you be accountable?

Your Team Leader (See Contacts and Schedule)

What are the available times to serve?

Sunday mornings: 8-9:30am; 9-10am; 9-9:45am; 10:30-11:15am

Sunday evenings: 5-6:15pm during children’s choir & small group sessions (times may vary based on evening schedules)

How will you serve?

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Greeting and welcoming children & families as they arrive
  • Learning to use check-in kiosks and desktop computer (training provided)
  • Assisting children & their families with the check-in process
  • Acquiring all appropriate information from new guests and walking them to their classroom(s)

What are the requirements to serve in this role?

  • Membership of Fairmount Christian Church status: Active attender
  • Completed Children’s Ministry Volunteer Application
  • Passed background security check
  • Completed training on usage and maintenance of check-in kiosks and desktop computer
